If you are creative and love making campaigns for marketing then email marketing is a way that could make you a lot of money. Thats actually how Anthony Morrison made his first million. You can also use this method to market your own product. We know it can work, but you have to get the basics right. The basics of building a list of people who want to hear from you, crafting a message, and ensuring the emails get through to those on that list. This isn't for everyone though. So if you are interested in email marketing i would do my research first to ensure your emails meet legal requirements. There is also software and services that offer features, tools and templates that help. All this comes at a cost of course, you might have to pay as much as $10 a month for a web-based service or $100 for software. If i were to start e-mail marketing out of the research i gathered, i would use AWeber or Mailchimp, because they are inexpensive. AWeber is affordable and provides everything for you to get started. It is only $1 the first month then $19/mo . Mailchimp i have personally used for newsletters and is free to use. Marketing your Blog

Now that you have your blog you need to let other people know that it is out there. First create a twitter account if you don't already have one. Find people to follow that you share the same interest in, sometimes they follow back its ok if they don't, right now you are just putting yourself out there. Make sure on twitter that you keep updating your followers of new posts, or you can just talk about your content. Next go to other bloggers that are talking about the same thing and follow there blog and sometimes they will follow back. Make sure you get yourself out there on other blogs and engage in conversation. Share what you know and sometimes their viewers might just follow you to. These two ways i found to be the best for me, there also is facebook, linkedin, and myspace that you can use to find people that share the same interest that you have on your blog. Creating a blog

The good thing about blogging is that it is basically free. The top two that i like is blogger and wordpress. If you want a simple and easy way to create your blog then blogger is right for you. If you want a more professional blog where you can have a .com after your URL name then wordpress is the way to go. Wordpress is basically free but if you want to later have .com at the end of your URL then it cost money and i don't think it is to much. Blogging is a great way to promote and talk about your product. If you are looking for a free way to promote your affiliate marketing links then a blog may not be your best option at least if you are just starting out. What i have learned with blogging is just to be yourself plain and simple. I love to read other people's blogs everyday and it actually feels like i get to know them, and that i can trust what they have to say. That is what viewers are looking for when they come to a specific blog. First and foremost please and i cant stress this enough please make sure that your content is yours and not copied from someone else. Having a blog is great for sharing what you are passionate about with other people that share the same passion. Starting out in affiliate marketing one of the first things to do is make your foundation that is creating a blog.

After coming to the conclusion that ad campaigns on social media was not for me I found a lot of good information on youtube. This one affiliate marketer really stood out to me lisa3876 she has been in the field for more then a few years and really knows her stuff, pretty much she tells it like it is. Its really hard to find affiliate marketers who are legitimate and who aren't just scamming you to make money. I learned in this type of industry that there is a lot of false advertising from affiliate marketers and its hard to know who is really telling the truth. Lisa not only explains to you everything that did not work for her but also what she did that helped her business become successful.  She really knows her stuff when it comes to creating a website and getting traffic. I know that when i am ready to create my website i will be using her methods. After the Anthony Morrison seminar i found Lisa's videos on youtube and i am so happy i did because she really helped me put everything into perspective.

Anthony Morrison seminar

I went to a seminar with my mom about affiliate marketing, which i had not a clue about. It was really difficult to stay in tuned and focused, then he started talking about  facebook, twitter and myspace (ding ding ding) now that i knew about and used every day. Anthony Morrison's brother went into the whole thing about making money with ads on social networks and dating sites. That all sounded great and i was motivated to get started. When i got home after the long 3 day seminar i couldn't wait to turn on the computer and create a few ads. Sadly my ads were not clicked on which was a little disappointing but expected, i knew what it all entailed and i definitely did not have the money to keep doing the ads. I moved on to the next project that was part of my homework, making a blog and putting content on it that i was interested in. Everything was going ok but i still wasn't making money and it felt like i had hit a dead end. I wanted to know more about affiliate marketing so i went on youtube, i had found a lot of good information. I'm not going to lie at first i was a little mad that my mom had spent 2k for the seminar. Then i realized that it was just a stepping stone for me and before i didn't even know what affiliate marketing was. So overall it was a good experience i learned a lot, will i ever use what Anthony Morrison's sibling taught us probably not.
